First, Second, Third, and Fourth Class students have joined forces again this year for their Buddy Reading sessions!
We spent time getting to know our new buddies, preparing for lots of fun and enjoyable reading together. These sessions are a wonderful way to build confidence, improve reading skills, and make new friends across the school community.
We canβt wait to see the friendships and love of reading grow throughout the year!

We are getting hands on with our Maths this year. Thank you to Fifth and Sixth Class for creating Maths games to play with our class for Maths Week.
We had a wonderful time celebrating Friendship Week! We enjoyed making friendship bracelets with our buddies, completing a treasure hunt, creating a friendship wreath and engaging in activities that encouraged teamwork and cooperation. It was a great opportunity to make connections, develop social skills and highlight the importance of kindness and collaboration.Β Β
Discovering the World of Bees with Mr. Diffley π
Our class had a fantastic learning experience when Mr. Diffley brought in a bee hive to show the children up close how bees live and work.
The students learned about the care and management of a hive, the different roles bees play in the colony, and the fascinating process of harvesting honey. It was a hands-on way to explore nature, understand the importance of bees in our environment, and see first-hand how honey is produced.
A big thank you to Mr. Diffley for sharing his knowledge and giving our pupils such an engaging and memorable experience!
Our 1st to 6th Class pupils are loving their weekly ukulele lessons with Music Generation! The ukulele is a small, four-stringed instrument thatβs easy to learn and perfect for playing fun songs β itβs cheerful, portable, and brings instant smiles. πΈβ¨
Weβve been practising chords, learning rhythms, and canβt wait to learn some new songs together in the coming weeks. The classrooms are full of music, laughter, and lots of eager little strummers! πΆπ
